No buyer for Rolex watch from Orthodox priest
The expensive Swiss-made watch was put on an open auction with starting price tag at almost $8000
News broke in February that an Orthodox Christian church in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv was faced with a surprisingly high electricity bill - around $2000. When the local priest - Metropolitan Nikolai - found out about it, he donated his Rolex watch, asking to sell it and use the money to pay for the electricity bill. Any left-over would be used for charity purposes.
It is yet to be known whan the Orthodox Metropolitan is to do with his expensive watch.
