No "Minsk Forum" to be held this year
This is the decision of the organizers from the German side.
According to "Charter'97", the reason for that is rapid decrease of the internal political situation in Belarus. Executive Director of the Eastern Committee of German economy and Chair of Minsk Forum Rainer Lindner has informed this to potential participants.
The Forum was held each November in Minsk since 1997, and became the most important ground for discussions on the topic of relationship between Belarus, Germany and the EU on the whole.
