Police "clean out" Minsk before Dmitry Medvedev's visit
Human rights activist Kasya Halitskaya has disappeared from the Law Courts. As of 1 p.m., she is not answering her phone.
The girl went to attend the trials of Young Front (the Czech Republic) activists detained in Minsk today - Uladzimir Yaromenak and Alyaksandr Vasilyeu. According to human rights defender Nasta Loika, Halistkaya is not present in court, informs BelaPAN. Loika thinks that the girl has been detained by the police.
Human rights defenders also inform that Ivan Amelchanka has been detained in Minsk. The guy became famous after his performance "Mycopok" organized during this year's Chernobyl Way. Amelchanka claimed on Monday that he was going to run for MP.
Human rights activists think that the detentions of activists are connected with the tomorrow's visit of Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev to Mink. He will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State.
