Schwarzenberg: EU has taken decision on sanctions against Belarusian regime
EU will impose sanctions on the official Minsk. The head of the Czech MFA Karel Schwarzenberg has claimed this.
He has noted that he does not support the idea of the economic sanctions against the Belarusian regime after the events of December 19, 2010, "Belarusian Partisan" reports.
Nevertheless, according to Schwarzenberg, the decision on sanctions is a very serious one.
He has stated: representatives of some countries think that economic sanctions should be introduced so that they would cover most spheres of the society. Schwarzenberg is convinced that the sanctions should only concern the regime's representatives. In particular, policemen that beat people, judges who convict them, and those who violate rights at all the levels.
