Tear gas used against Tymoshenko's adherents in Kyiv?
This has been informed by the press-center of "Homeland" party.
Opposition activists intended to march along Volodymirska Street to the President's residence. They were going to pass the resolution of the meeting which happened before.
According to the opposition, several dozens of people were injured when the march was dispersed. The police are also claimed to summon police vans to the Shevchenko park to transport the detainees.
At the same time, policemen claim they did not use tear gas and other special means against the opposition activists. According to them, the protesters threw sticks, bottles, umbrellas and other objects at them. The policemen allegedly just protected themselves with shields.
