Three anarchists sentenced to imprisonment, two – to restraint of liberty
Minsk Zavodski District Court has pronounced the court’s decision to the activists of the anarchist movement.
Ihar Alinevich has been imprisoned for 8 years, Mikalai Dzyadok – for 4.5 years, and Alyaksandr Frantskevich – for 3 years. All of them will serve their sentences in top security colonies. Maxim Vetkin has been sentenced to 4 years of restraint of liberty and Yauhen Selivonchyk – to 1.5 years of restraint of liberty. Vetkin and Selivonchyk have been released in the court room.
Let us remind you that the anarchists were accused of an unauthorized action near the Ministry of Defense in 2009, attacks on an affiliate of Belarusbank, the building of the Federation of Trade Unions, the “Shangri La” casino, the Russian Embassy and the prison in Akrestsina Lane.
