Uladzimir Makei: Belarus expects EU to lift sanctions
Head of the President’s Administration Uladzimir Makei has claimed it in an interview with Belarusian mass media on April 17.
According to him, the EU Ambassadors recalled from our country are asking to be allowed to return to Belarus now. Makei says that the European Union “is not only asking, it is threatening with new sanctions” in order to help its Ambassadors return, informs BelTA.
However, according to the official, the Ambassadors will return to Belarus only when “the European Union understands the necessity of discussing the cancellation of sanctions with Belarus”.
