U.S. authorities claim Osama bin Laden is dead
The leader of the jihadist terrorist organization al-Qaeda – Osama bin Laden – has been killed in Islamabad.
The information has been confirmed by U.S. President Barack Obama on national television. American mass media distributed information about the death of terrorist #1 earlier. The head of the White House has noted that the USA is not struggling with Muslims; it it struggling with the international terrorism. According to him, al-Qaeda attacks were also directed against Muslims and inhabitants of Pakistan.
The operation was carried out by Joint Special Operations Command forces in Pakistan working with the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. Osama bin laden’s body is currently in the possession of the U.S. authorities and has been identified by DNA testing, report information agencies.
