Yermakova suggest borrowing or earning foreign currency
The new head of the National Bank, Nadzeya Yermakova, has talked to journalists today, on July 28.
She has informed that the banking system should promote the development of the economy, reports BelTA.
In Yermakova’s opinion, foreign currency will not come out of the blue; it should either be borrowed or earned. The head of the National Bank has mentioned the way to earn foreign currency: development of the export, reduction of the import and import substitution at enterprises.
Speaking about foreign currency problems, Yermakova has noted that people keep it in pockets: “There are no roubles, we cannot buy any bread so we keep 15-20 dollars in our pockets”.
