Zingeris reminds about human rights violations in Belarus to PACE
Commissioner for Human Rights at the Council of Europe Thomas Hammarberg did not pay enough attention to “the terrifying violation of human rights in Belarus”.
The head of the Lithuanian delegation Emanuelis Zingeris has made the statement during a plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe today. He has also informed the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland about the fact.
