Russian politician: US wants to set Lukashenka against Russia

Washington intends to either overthrow the President of Belarus Alyaksandr Lukashenka or make him anti-Russian. This opinion was expressed on Thursday by the head of the Russian State Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs Alexei Pushkov.
In his twitter, the Russian politician wrote that "Nuland said: the is US open to dialogue with Belarus. So, they are going to overthrow Lukashenka again, or at least turn him against Moscow."
Victoria Nuland is a US Assistant Secretary of State. Earlier, she said that in recent years, the United States and Belarus managed to make small steps towards each other. However, Washington does not renounce claims to the official Minsk in the human rights field.
