The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU or SBU) has published a document refuting Ukraine's involvement in the strike on the bus carrying Belarusian citizens in the Bryansk region of Russia.
This is an information report from the monitoring center of the State Treasury Institution of the Bryansk Region "Safe Region". The document was obtained during SBU counterintelligence operations. The summary states that at the time of the bus incident, there were no Ukrainian drones in the airspace of the area.
The report notes that the presence of drones in the air was not confirmed by either the Regional Segment of the Operational Headquarters of the Unified National Center, nor the duty officer at the radar battalion in the Russian settlement of Suponevo, nor the duty officer of the 32nd Division of Russian forces.
The SBU believes that the strike on the bus carrying Belarusians was a special operation carried out by Russian security services.
"We draw attention to the fact that the aggressor country has repeatedly accused Ukraine of crimes committed by representatives of the Russian Federation. Russian authorities use such incidents to conduct their own information and psychological operations and to pressure Ukraine on the international stage", — the SBU stated.
