Supreme Court denies BCD’s complaint about Ministry of Justice
The Supreme Court has denied the complaint about the Ministry of Justice lodged by the steering committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party. The BCD steering committee wanted to appeal the refusal to register the party.
The list of founders contains incorrect information about their dates of birth and places of residence, the Supreme Court replied. Furthermore, a few people sent refusals to participate in the creation of the party to the Ministry of Justice earlier.
The people refused because of pressure, the BCD claimed.
It is the fifth time the BCD has been refused registration as a party. The BCD has also tried registering as a civil organization 19 times.
