Tozik: Income tax is likely to be increased
The vice PM has told it to Belarus-1.
Anatol Tozik has commented on the results of Lukashenka’s meeting that was held on August 22. A new mechanism of support for families with children is going to be implemented. It was suggested to increase the income tax from 12% to 13% in connection with it.
The money will be spent on children’s support, BelaPAN quotes Tozik. However, the family has to take care of children in the first place, the official noted: “The state is only a helping hand when it is necessary. It is essential not to cross the line and not to spoil families by the assistance.”
The vice PM described his view of the family: “A classical Belarusian family consists of parents and three children. Then we will have a population increase.”
