Two drunken policemen shoot at Bolivian President’s security service car
They did it because the car had overtaken them.
Two drunken policemen shot at the car belonging to the Bolivian President’s security service, RBK reports.
Evo Morales’ security car was going to deliver the pilot of the President’s plane to the airport. The Bolivian President was expected to leave for Sukre.
The policemen were not on duty. They claimed that they did not understand that the car was part of the President’s motorcade. They reacted to having been overtaken.
The car was damaged but the driver was not injured.
The police sergeants have been arrested and accused of an attempted murder. They may be fired from the police.
