Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu detained at border in Brest on his way back from Poland
Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu was detained at 2 a.m. in Brest when passing border controls on his train from Poland, BelaPAN director Ales Lipai wrote on Facebook. The politician has been 'neutralized' on the day when street rallies are expected across Belarus in protest against Decree No 3 and to mark Freedom Day, the anniversary of Belarusian People's Republic. Yesterday, Nyaklyayeu was to appear in court in Minsk to stand trial for taking part in the February 17 unauthorized protest.
