Vadzim Dzeviatouski as Belarus ice hockey federation chairman?
World famous hammer thrower Vadzim Dzeviatouski is recommended to take charge of Belarus Ice Hockey Federation.
The candidature of the 37-year-old member of parliament for the post of Belarus Ice Hockey Federation chairman was put forward by hockey club Dinamo Minsk, reports Pressball.
Commenting to reporters on the situation, Dzeviatouski said he consdiered the proposal "a challenge that I took." The former professional athlete said he had followed all sporting developments in the country in all sport branches.
Vadzim Dzeviatouski is a former professional hammer-thrower. He won medals at Olympic Games, world and European championships. Since 2012, he has been a member of the House of Representative, the lower chamber of Belarusian parliament.
