Vadzim Iosub: Exchange rate to be floating between 8500 and 8700

The financial analyst of the official partner of “Alpari” in Minsk Vadzim Iosub says that the additional session exchange rate has turned out to be close to the interbank rate and the rate established by some Baltic banks the other day.

According to the National Bank’s recommendations, the banks are allowed to establish their foreign currency exchange rates using the results of the second session. They are no longer restricted by the 2% limit. That is why the difference between the exchange rates at which dollars can be bought and sold reaches 2000 roubles in some foreign currency exchange offices. However, it will decrease with time.But the expert does not think that the exchange rate will change a lot.
Iosub: "It may decrease or increase. But the changes will be minor – about 100 roubles. I think that foreign currency will appear in foreign currency exchange offices early next week if not today or tomorrow. If banks react quicker, it may appear this week”.
 
The economist says that banks should buy foreign currency on the stock exchange to sell it in foreign currency exchange offices.
