Victoria Azarenka goes down to 42nd position in WTA rankings
The Belarusian tennis player has gone by 11 positions in a week.
Victoria Azarenka will take part in Brisbane International on Monday. Her first rival will be Czech Karolína Plíšková. The match will start at 12 p.m. and will be broadcast by Belarus 5. Azarenka won the tournament five years ago and made it to the final last year.
Former World No.1 Victoria Azarenka has gone down by 11 positions in the WTA rankings– to the 42nd position. The top-3 has not changed: American Serena Williams, Russian Maria Sharapova and Romanian Simona Halep.
Another Belarusian player, Aliaksandra Sasnovich, is in the 143rd position (up from the 144th).
