Yarmoshyna: Voters will get to streets in case of election rigging

“If the elections are indeed falsified, it will not be a handfull (300-500 people) of political functionaries who will get to the streets. The deceived voters will come out to the streets, because they will see that their choice does not match the official results," said Lidziya Yarmoshyna, the chairperson of the Central Elecions Commission, in an interview with the Belaruskaya Dumka newspaper. At the same time, she maintains that "it is impossible to falsify the election".

Yarmoshyna noted that the people of Belarus "always accept the election results by default" and trust the figures announced by the Central Elections Commission.
