11 local officials punished for office abuse in Vitsebsk region

Local officials in the Vitsebsk region have faced punishment for various violations. Three chairmen of the district committees were reprimanded for violations in handling the land issues, writes Zviazda newspaper.  Eight other officials, including the deputy chairman of the Vitsebsk regional committee, were subjected to disciplinary actions.

The deputy chairman of the Braslau district committee had the worst luck, because he is facing criminal charges of office abuse.
