15-meters asteroid comes close to Earth
By all parameters, it reminds the meteorite that exploded over the Urals in early 2013.
According to RIA Novosti, the asteroid flew 11 thousand kilometers away from our planet. It happened on Friday night.
The astronomers noticed the space guest only several ours before it flew so close to the earth. The object was detected by the observatory located near the Baikal lake.
The Russian scientists say that the asteroid entered the zone where it is practically impossible to observe it.
