150 Belarusians, 660 Ukrainians detained in Poland
The Polish border control service releases statistics for the first six months in 2013.
Around 2000 foreigners were detained in Poland for breaking the migration rules. The figure includes 660 Ukrainians who top the list of offenders, including 300 who were grabbed by the police within the internal borders of the European Union near the Czech Republic and Germany.
Our compatriots have entered the Top 3, with 150 detained Belarusians who are, like Ukrainians, in most cases detained for working without official permit or for traveling with expried visas or for visiting other Schengen member states for work or as tourists on a national Polish visa, reports UNIAN.
