15:42 Belarus citizens rescued by Ukrainian pilots in Congo
A Ukrainian aviation cargo company helped three citizens of Belarus to exit the Democratic Republic of Congo, where our compatriots had survived for one month without any means for existence. The Belarusians on Sunday were transported with an Ilyushin-76 plane from Congo to Ukraine, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense said.
It was the Russian Embassy in Congo and the local branch of the Red Cross International who approached Ukraine, trying to arrange a rescue for the Belarusians in trouble, according to the Ukraine's Ministry of Defense press office.
