16:27 Children's Eurovision invites applications
Applications are invited to participate in the children's singing contest titled "The Song for Eurovision", the national qualification for the children's Eurovision-2007. The competition comprises two stages: qualification and finals, according to the press office of the Belarusian TV and Radio Company, the contest's organizer. The deadline for applications is May 31.
Not more than ten songs will be picked by the jury for the final stage to take place in September 2007. The show will be screened by the First Channel.
The winning song will be determined by telephone voting by viewers and by a professional jury.
The contest is organized by the Belarusian television and the Ministry of Culture of Belarus.
