20:00 “Malady Front” activist Barys Haretski detained in Minsk
An activist of an unregistered organization “Malady Front” Barys Haretski has been detained in Minsk. According to his brother Kastus Haretski, Barys was detained by the police on his way home in Valhahgradkaya Street (Pershamaiski District). He is thought to be at the police office in Byalinskaha Street. Kastus Haretski thinks that his brother has been detained in connection with preparation of a street action dated for the Day of Will that is to take place on March 25.
Let us remind you that Barys Haretski is a suspect in the criminal case started because of acting on behalf of an unregistered organization.
The youth activist was interrogated at Minsk Office of Public Prosecutor as a witness on March 14. Then he was informed that his status was changed to suspect.
Besides Haretski, such people as Zmіtser Hvedaruk, Aleg Korban, Nastassya Palazhanka and Alyaksei Yanusheuskі are suspects in this case.
