5 European Parliament members visiting Minsk
Bogdan Zdrojewski, chairman of European Parliament delegation on relations with Belarus
Five members of the European Parliament are paying a visit to Minsk on July 18-19 to discuss bilateral relations between the European Union and Belarus with representatives of Belarusian government and parliament, Office of the European Union in Minsk told Euroradio.
The European Parliament delegation will also meet with representatives of the opposition and civil society in order to find out from them what obstacles they face in their work.
This is the second official visit to Belarus by MEPs led by Bogdan Zdrojewski, chairman of the EP delegation on relations with Belarus. The delegation consists of European parliamentarians from Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Germany, representing four political factions in the European Parliament.
