5 km of white-red-white ribbon to be produced in Mahilyou
Mahilyou factory Stuzhka will produce 5 km of the white-red-white ribbon, director of Art-Manour Pavel Belavus told Radio Liberty. The order had to be fulfilled by September 19 but the enterprise was short of raw material and the production was put off. The factory has promised to produce a huge consignment of the ribbon next week.
The order has been paid for with public money – about a dozen people donated money for it. The Art-Manour is hoping to find more sponsors in the future in order to produce a bigger consignment of the white-red-white ribbon and to popularize the national symbols.
