Aggressive beaver jailed for 14 days in Vilnius
The incident happened on Monday morning. The beaver came to the territory of John Paul II grammar school in Vilnius.
A taxi-driver noticed the animal there. He saw it attacking a cat. The police arrived and decided what to do with the bear who had no intention to leave voluntarily, informs delfi.lt.
Later, representatives of Kaunas animal protection service arrived. They caught and caged the beaver. The animal behaved aggressively, threw at people. So, it was decided not to let the beaver go to the water but to place it into a quarantine for 14 days. Ironically, he was put in a cage designed for cats.
