Kwaśniewski: Ukraine revolution fate to be resolved within 48 hours
European integration supporters should remain resilient and preserve the dynamics of the protests, says Poland's ex-president Alexander Kwasniewski.
This is the only way to force Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich to make concessions, Alexander Kwaśniewski said.
Mass protests can make one of the Ministers or even the Prime Minister resign. But if the street actions slacken, the authorities will use force to take the situation under their control.
Victor Yanukovich has no plan and is waiting for the situation to develop in order to react to it, the former Polish President thinks. Yanukovich has only one goal: to bring peace back to the state and secure his own re-election in 2015. The President is unlikely to resign now, UNIAN quotes Kwaśniewski.
The Ukrainian government is much stronger than it was during the Orange Revolution, Alexander Kwaśniewski stressed.
