A.Lukashenka congratulates doctors on their professional holiday
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has congratulated all medical workers on their professional holiday. “2008 is the Year of Health in Belarus, so the state’s and society’s top priority is solving a complex of problems in order to improve Belarusian people’s health”, - is said in the congratulation on the Doctor’s Day.
Lukashenka stressed that the development of healthcare system was a top priority for the state’s policy aimed at making high-quality and high-tech medical assistance available for every Belarusian citizen regardless of their residence in the capital or in a small village in Palesse. The policy has already contributed to the growth of the birth rate and the life interval in the country. According to Alyaksandr Lukashenka, the achievements were made possible “thanks to the country’s success in social and economic development, complex reequipment of healthcare institutions and the professionalism, knowledge and diligence of medical workers”.
