Archeologists to dig the future site of nuclear power station
A group of archeologists from Mahiliou is set to explore the future site of the Belarusian nuclear power plant in order to find out if archeological monuments could be found there. A preliminary digging will be carried out on June 18.
According to Dr. Ihar Marzalyuk, the head of the archeology and history department at the Mahiliou State University, if they find anything, the case willbe forwarded for further investigation. The historian noted:
"The site is not well studied. There should be some human remains or archeological assets there!"
