BATE to play against Bulgarian “Litex” to make it to group stage of Europa League
Barysau BATE will compete with Bulgarian “Litex” to make it to the group stage of the Euroepa League. The draw of the tournament’s qualification play-off is taking place in the UEFA headquarters now.
The Barysau team will play the first match at home on August 20. The response match will take place a week later – on August 27.
Meanwhile, Latvian “Ventspils” that defeated BATE in the third qualification round of the Champions League will compete with Swiss “Zurich”.
The Latvians have a good chance of repeating last year’s success of Belarusians and making it to the group stage of the League.
Furthermroe, Alyaksandr Hleb’s “Stuttgart” will compete with Romanian “Timişoara” and English “Arsenal” will play against Scottish “Celtic”.
