Be2gether: Real upgrade
On the six hectares (nearly 15 acres) of land designated for art and leisure, music which can no longer be heard live will be commemorated by The Beatles tent, in which fans of this legendary group will be able to hear its works performed by professionals and to get acquainted with its history. Norviliškės will also host a unique park of sculptures that make sounds, dance and art academy activities, as well as a multitude of amusements for all kinds of fun-loving guests.
Alyaksandr Rakavets, leader of IQ48 hip-hop band that took part in last year's event, notes a special atmosphere of the festival.
"I had a very good impression because we played on the same stage as stars like Morcheeba, Therapy?, Bloodhound Gang and Lyapis Trubetskoy. In addition, we played in Lithuania for the first time. There were many Belarusians, and the organizers did their best to bring them there. A good atmosphere of no-borders between countries ruled."
This year's event features Fishbone, Groove Armada, Girls Against
Boys, Zdob Si Zdub, and Belarusian bands Osimira, Mauzer,
N.R.M.
Lyavon Volski, N.R.M. frontman, is positive
about the festival. "I look forward to cultural integration with the
brotherly Lithuanian and other peoples. I expect our fans and other people who
want to hang out at the festival to come. It is a serious and rare show for the
former Soviet Union. It seems to be a real upgrade
for Belarusian guys to attend the show and breathe in Europe's
free air."
