Belarus and Russia may prepare peace-making troops together
Russian Security Council secretary Nikolai Partushev has arrived in Minsk. He met with his Belarusian counterpart Stanislau Zas. Experts of the two states’ security councils also met on that day, BELTA reports.
Zas and Patryshev discussed the further strengthening of regional and intentional security. They talked about the cooperation of the two states’ security councils and the legal bases existing in the allied states.
They touched upon Belarus-Russia cooperation in peacemaking activities. Belarusian military men are part of the UN mission in Lebanon now. Russia also has the experience of participation in several peacemaking missions.
Zas and Patrushev expressed their interest in the joint preparation of peacemaking troops.
