Belarus conducts negotiations about energy import in 2008 with Russia and Ukraine

Belarus has started negotiations about energy import in 2008 with Russia and Ukraine. The principal engineer of the operative-dispatch department of “Belenerga” Uladzimir Karduba informed about it. He noted that Belarus would not be able to stick to the provisions of the contract with Ukraine this year. The southern neighbour stopped energy supplies to Belarus for an impartial reason in June.

Belarus bought only 900 million kilowatts instead of the planned 1.5 billion during the first six months of this year.
