Belarus has a day-off on Nov 7, works on Nov 8
The government's press office says November 8 will be a working day after the public holiday on November 7 to mark the anniversary of 1917 Revolution.
Spokesperson for Belarusian PM Volha Douhaya said November 7 was announced a day off in connection with celebration of the anniversary of October revolution 1917 in Russia. As for Friday, November 8, it will be a usual working day, reports Interfax-West.
