Belarus introduces one-month visa-free entry for Lithuania and Latvia residents

Citizens of Lithuania and Latvia won't need a visa to visit Belarus from April 16. The relevant announcement appeared at the border crossing points. Later, the Border Committee clarified that the visa-free entry procedure starts on April 15.
At the same time, both Latvia and Lithuania are on the list of "unfriendly states."
The Border Committee of Belarus recently reported that citizens of the neighboring countries (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia) might be subject to a visa-free regime.
Journalists of the TV channel, declared extremist in Belarus, learned in the State Border Committee that "visa-free travel" will be introduced only for a month - from April 16 to May 15.
To cross the border, citizens of Latvia and Lithuania will only need a passport, insurance, a PCR test or a certificate of vaccination and money (two basic units per day of stay) or a bank account statement.
