Belarus paratroopers put on full combat alert
This was done to test the system of strengthening the protection of the state border with Ukraine.
On June 3-4, military units of the 38th and 103rd special mobile brigades of the Belarus Armed Forces were put on full combat alert. It was done to check the system of strengthening the protection of the state border with Ukraine, as well as the territorial defense of the Homiel region (it is done under order of the Head of State).
According to BELTA, on Wednesday, two mobile squadrons of the 38th Brigade made a forced march in the Homiel region. On Thursday, a similar march will be conducted by unit of the 103rd Brigade.
It is noted, that the formation of the Territorial Defense Staff of Yelsk rayon of Homiel region and a rifle company of territorial forces in Yelsk are under way. The base for mobilization of reservists has been created.
