Belarusian handball players celebrate second victory in European Championship-2010 qualification
Belarus national men’s handball team has celebrated its second victory in the qualification round of the European Championship-2010.
The team of Heorhi Svirydenka defeated Israel team in Rishon le-Zion yesterday – 31:28. Let us remind you that the teams played their first match in Brest on November 26. Belarusians also won there – 38:31.
Belarus national team will play its next match in March 2009. They will compete with world champions – Germans. At the moment Belarus and Germany are leaders of the 5th group. They have 4 points each after 2 matches; Slovenia team has 4 points after three matches.
