Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires is afraid of the "be2gether" festival

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires hopes that Lithuania will not allow any propaganda or unfriendly anti-Belarusian actions during the musical festival “be2gether” (Be Together). “Such actions would contradict the announced purpose of the festival”, - says the official appeal of the Ministry. The uneasiness experienced by the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires is easy to understand. The musical festival “be2gether” will take place on August 24-26 in Lithuania, at the Lithuanian-Belarusian border.  The organizers are going to present it as a step to unity of Belarus and Europe rather than Belarus and Russia.

According to Lithuanian sources, about 15-20 thousand spectators will visit the festival. The majority of them will be young people.
