Belarusian tourists return home due to Russian travel agencies’ bankruptcy
Three people who bought trips from Russian Labyrinth with the help of Alatan Tour have returned from Egypt.
The tourists returned on a Russian plane, interfax.by reports. They had to pay a bit more for their plane tickets but the sum will be given back to them in Belarus.
Dozens of thousands of tourists including Belarusians ‘got delayed’ at resorts in Bulgaria, Tunisia, Turkey and Egypt after seven Russian travel agencies had announced that they would have to suspend their work.
According to the Belarusian MFA, there are six more Belarusian tourists who bought trips from Labyrinth in Bulgaria now. The Belarusian tourists have already been sent back to Belarus from Tunisia by plane.
About 10 more Belarusian tourists who were delivered to Egypt by Labyrinth have already set off for Belarus.
