Brazil celebrates victory (video)
The World Cup has started – the first match was played in the Arena Corinthians in São Paulo.
The opening ceremony was held on Thursday evening. About 600 performers, gymnasts, dancers and acrobats took part in it.
The first match was played by Brazil and Croatia. Brazilian Marcelo scored the first goal during the 11th minute. However, it was an own goal. But Neymar scored two more goals later – during the 29th and 71th (a penalty shot) minutes. Oscar scored one more goal at the last moment. Thus, all the goals were scored by Brazilians.
Mexico and Cameroon will pay on June 13 (at 7 p.m. EEST). Spain and Holland will play at 10 p.m. EEST.
