Cameraman from Belarus highly praised at Venice Film Festival
Still from 'Bones and all' / Metro Goldwyn Mayer
The film "Bones and all" with Timothy Chalamet in the leading role was recently presented at the Venice Film Festival. The film was shot by Arseniy Khachaturian, who was born in Minsk, but now lives and works in the United States.
Film critic Anton Dolin has described Khachaturian's work as "ruthless attention to detail," while Italian portal Cineforum writes that he "works impressionistically with light to enhance shapes and volumes."
The picture was directed by Luca Guadagnino, best known for "Call Me by Your Name," which was nominated for an Oscar.
The movie "Bones and all" shows two young cannibals in the U.S. in the 1980s. The film will be officially released at the end of November this year.
