Condolence book at French Embassy in Minsk
A condolence book will be opened in the French Embassy in Minsk on November 16 to commemorate the victims of the recent terrorist acts in Paris, French Ambassador to Belarus Dominique Gazuy said. The condolence book will be available from 9.30 a.m. until 12.30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Everyone will be able to leave a note there, BELTA reports.
The French Ambassador has thanked Belarusians for condolences and solidarity and for the flowers people are bringing to the Embassy.
A series of terrorist acts (blasts near the stadium Stade de France and people taken hostage at a rock concert at the theatre Bataklan are among them) hit Paris on the evening of November 13. 129 people were killed, 352 were wounded and dozens are in a critical condition now. France has announced a 3-day mourning.
