Czech experts to help with stress tests at nuclear power plant in Belarus
Czech specialists will be asked to help with stress tests at the Belarusian NPP in December, BELTA reports quoting the ONT TV.
An IAEI SEED-mission will analyse the choice of the building site at first. According to the agreement with Russia, stress tests will be conducted afterwards.
The scientific and project institute for energy technologies AtomProject will conduct the stress tests. The Belarusian NPP’s resistance to earthquakes, floods and extreme weather conditions will be tested.
Belarus will inform the European Commission about the results of the stress tests.
