Darya Domrachava wins first race of the season
She overtook Kaisa Makaraynen.
Biathlete Darya Domrachava has won the women's individual race at the first stage of the World Cup in Ostersund, reports wcbiathlon.ru.
In her struggle for the victory, the Belarusian defeated the Finnish athlete Kaisa Makaraynen. Both biathletes made two misses. Domrachava achieved victory thanks to a higher speed of shooting and skiing.
Third place was taken by Ukrainian athlete Valentina Semerenko.
