Belarus' Darya Domracheva announced 2014 Europe’s best female athlete
Belarus biathlon star Darya Domracheva is recognized the 2014 best female athlete in Europe according to a survey by European sports journalists.
Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva was announced to be the best European sportswoman of 2014. The survey was conducted by the continental section of the International Sports Press Association for the 32nd time, BelaPAN reports.
Domracheva won three gold medals at the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
By the way, journalists of the whole world put Domracheva onto the second position after American tennis player Serena Williams. She is also the best Belarusian sportswoman according to the surveys conducted by BelaPAN and the newspaper Sports Panorama.
