Dozens detained in Minsk, Mahilou and Hrodna
On March 15, dozens people were detained in Belarus, most of them in Minsk. According to human rioghts defenders, over 30 people were taken to Central District Police Department alone despite the fact that the rally against Decree No 3 was authorized by the authorities.
Detentions also took place in Mahilou where the action was not authorized. The list of 8 detainees includes the mother of four underage children Alen Kren, Aliaksandr Nazhenka (he spoke about the benefits for Chernobyl liquidators), Ihar Charnyak, Aleh Myatselitsa, Natalla Shkadun, Alena Kisel, Kanstantsin Charnou, Dzmitry Lyuntau.
People were also detained in Hrodna including Pavel Staneuski, the leader of Fair World party's regional office. Aliaksandr Abukhovich was released.
