Drug poisoning, young man dies
A drug dealer has sold a concentrate to a group of young people and it has resulted in a tragedy in Hrodna Province.
A group of young people (aged 21) got poisoned on drugs, one of them died.
The young people decided to have fun with the help of drugs, member of the press service of Hrodna Province Executive Committee Mihail Kuznyatsou told BELTA. A Vaukavysk inhabitant suggested it to his girlfriend from Shchuchin and she agreed (she had already taken drugs before). They headed for Hrodna by car, their sober friend was driving.
However, the drug dealer sold the young people a concentrate of the drug used in mixes. The overdose resulted in a tragedy. Having taken the drug, the group started driving back home. They felt bad and the driver managed to stop the car near the village of Alekshytsy, Berastavitski District.
The car stayed there for a long time and attracted attention. Policemen found the owner of the car dead, his friends were in a serious condition and both were taken to intensive care units. Their lives have been saved but it is not clear what consequences the overdose may result in. They have already been interrogated and are at their relatives’ places now.
